Increase Awareness and Attendance at Your Historic Site

The Florida Trust works closely with historic sites, museums and parks around the state of Florida to increase awareness and attendance as well as an understanding and appreciation for the need to preserve and restore Florida′s unique historical treasures. A program designed to encourage the public to visit historic sites and museums, while also offering a unique benefit to members of the Florida Trust, is Florida′s Historic Passport. Florida′s Historic Passport allows members of the Florida Trust special offers at about 70 historic sites and museums, including free or discounts for admission, gift store purchases, guided tours, etc. There is no fee for historic sites to join other than membership of the Florida Trust, and a key benefit is that Florida Trust members visiting your sites will, almost inevitably, be accompanied by friends who often pay full price. Members traveling to your site will provide their current Florida Trust membership card, which includes their name, member number and expiration date.

The Passport Program’s sites are being updated and participating sites will be listed soon.
