Historic Haile Homestead invites you to an Annual Homestead Holiday event, Sunday, December 4, 2016, 12 Noon -4 p.m. Free and open to public.

Historic Haile Homestead – 8500 SW Archer Road (SR 24), 3 miles west of I-75, exit 384, Gainesville, Florida

Stroll through the 1856 plantation home decked out in an array of traditional greenery and Victorian finery. Docents in Victorian costume! See the Homestead’s famous “Talking Walls.” This year’s theme: Crops grown by the Hailes! Free carriage rides! Enjoy live holiday music performed by young musicians. Sip some hot cider as you browse a selection of home-baked goodies, and special holiday ornaments.

Proceeds benefit Historic Haile Homestead Inc., the 501c3 non-profit that operates the Homestead. Funded in part by a Tourist Development Tax Grant from the Alachua County Board of County Commissioners in conjunction with the Alachua County Tourist Development Council.
