Gather for a screening of one of Sinatra’s most entertaining films, the lush, widescreen, Technicolor A Hole in the Head (1959), a look at mid-century Miami at the height of the “hotel wars.” Featuring an all-star cast (Edward G. Robinson, Thelma Ritter, and Keenen Wynn) and the popular song High Hopes, this gem captures the performer at his peak. With an Introduction and Q & A by Christina Lane, Director of University of Miami’s School of Communication Norton Herrick Center for Motion Picture Studies.
