This Monday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed the 2021 Florida Budget into law. The budget included significant cuts to address revenue shortfalls caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Unfortunately, funding for Division of Historical Resources grants was impacted by these cuts, as well as additional dollars allocated for preservation projects throughout the state. All FY2021 Special Category grant funds were cut, but funding for Small Matching grants remain at $1.5 million.
